"What I'm trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied withgetting so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God andthe way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how heworks. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You'llfind all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don't be afraid ofmissing out. You're my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you thevery kingdom itself.Luke 12:29-32The Message
Yesterday the moisture was heavy inthe air and the thick dew on the leaveswas just hanging there almost suspended.I wrote "....hanging in the balance" in myjournal. Today I ended up in Obadiah.I'll leave the interpretation up to ya'll but I felt itmight be relevant to the land and wantedto pass it on. Here are what the footnotesrevealed:Message carries a summons to arms."Arise" is typical of summons to battle.Edom can signify both the geographical area lying to the South of the Dead Seaand the people who occupied that territory.Figuratively Edom represents Zion's foes. The bubble of Edom's inflated pride is about to burst.God's judgement is as good as done.(footnotes taken from The Spirit Filled Life Bible)References:Began at Ez.34-36Mal.1:2-5Jer. 49:16-18 parallels/ and ended at Obadiah 1:1-4
